After five years as head coach of the Lady Raiders volleyball team, Paige Ellertson elected to step down. She submitted her resignation during winter break. Her replacement will be Pierce's HEC director and former Tacoma Community College volleyball coach Doug Carlson.
Much like the NBA Developmental League, intramurals has everything from the casual player to the player who could not make the intercollegiate team, minus a referee. With roughly 100 students and nine staff members signed up, the turn-out has been remarkable.
