International students come to U.S. from all over the world to study. Pierce College has 195 international students from 30 different countries including China, Korea and African countries. They learn cultures, communication and lifestyles of Americans and often experience culture shock.

Jason Radach is a busy man. In his second quarter at Pierce, he is majoring in criminal justice and is a soldier in the U.S. Air Force, yet he manages to squeeze in photography in his spare time. "I was in the military so when I was deployed there were a lot of photojournalists that came out and took pictures and it looked interesting," Radach said.
